Trentonsteel.com recently had the opportunity to speak with John Morris, owner and commissioner of the AIFA, regarding the future of Trenton Steel football and his hopes and aspirations for the AIFA:

1. What was your inspiration for the starting the AIFA?
**
My inspiration was to help the players that did not make it to the NFL or the CFL or who were in the NFL or the CFL and are trying to get back up to that level and achieve their dream.

2. What do you expect from the Trenton Steel?
**
I expect them to be a tough competitor right out of the gate with all of the great talent in that New Jersey area. Our hopes would be to make the play-offs.

**

3. Why did you pick Trenton for an AIFA franchise?
**
Trenton is a great market and it fits very well within out footprint in the league. Also there are some awesome football fans in that area.

4. What is your vision for the AIFA?
**
To be the top indoor football league in the country. Also, to send as many football players to the next level as we can while providing good family, fast paced entertainment.

5. Why go to an AIFA game rather than to a movie and dinner?

**

Because for the same price as a movie, you can come and get two and a half hours of great live entertainment while rooting for your home team!

Baltimore Mariners 61, N.J. Revolution 27
San Jose Wolves 82, Yakima Vly Warriors 50
